Description

This document details to process for enabling Vistry COINS Live access for COINS support employees and developers. Vistry Group has been federated with the COINS global domain which ensures that the COINS domain staff can use Azure Login to the Vistry COINS environments securely and without the additional work of Vistry COINS support staff managing and communicating login details externally to Vistry.

 

Process

  1. COINS employee requests access to COINS environment through existing Remedy ticket. Details should be retained in internal IT ticket, either the initiating ticket or a new ticket specific to the access request.
    1. COINS employee needs to confirm how long the Live access is required for (e.g  to end of week).
  2. Vistry COINS support enable access for COINS employee with Password Expires date field populated with end date of access requirement from point 1a above.
  3. COINS employee uses Azure AD login option.
  4. SQL script auto-disables access once account Password Expires date elapses.
  5. Return to point 2 if further access is required.
