Description


A user may request a change to the bank account details for one of our sectors should they be wrong or need to be updated. The request would initially need to come from or be approved by the regional Finance Management team followed by approval for COINS Support to make the change by Group Treasury. Once approved, the changes need to be applied to the Bank Accounts as well as the Contract Sales Certificate document and Sales Ledger Invoice document as these two documents display the sector bank details externally for payment requests.

Process


Navigate to Cash Book > Setup Maintenance > Bank Accounts.

Locate the bank account that needs to be updated.

Click the folder icon to the left of the bank code to open the bank account to make amendments.

Update the field(s) that require changes.

Click the floppy disk icon to save the changes.

This concludes the updating of the Bank Account within the Cash Book module.

Once all the above parts are complete, inform the user and Group Treasury that the change has been made successfully in COINS and close the call accordingly.
