Sharing Files Externally via OneDrive
Navigate to the file or folder you want to share outside of the business.
Right click the file/folder and click “Share”
Type in the email address you want to share with in the top field of the form. Select them again when they pop up below. Then press send.
This will then send an email to that user with a link to access the file. You can also press copy link once the email address has been submitted. This will allow you to present the link in an email from yourself.
Note: This method does not require the recipient to use OneDrive within their business, need a license or set up an account.
